On July 31st, the Massachusetts Assisted Living Association (Mass-ALA) honored Marietta “Etta” Sullivan, Life Enrichment Director at Bridges® by EPOCH at Pembroke, at their annual Excellence Awards Dinner with the 2024 Life Enrichment Award.
As the honoree of the Life Enrichment Award, Sullivan serves as a shining example of someone who works directly with residents and designs programs to encourage socialization, relaxation, and fulfillment of older adults.
“Etta represents the heart and soul of Bridges,” said Lori Luzzo, Senior Executive Director of Bridges® by Epoch at Pembroke. “She understands that our residents can experience joyful, meaningful moments through all stages of memory loss. Etta creates thoughtful programs informed by residents’ interests and modifies them as abilities change to support fun, safe, and dignified participation at every stage.”
