Bridges has been THE BEST! We had called and looked at so many places. We were so scared to place our mom somewhere, after her memory was really failing lately and we knew we needed a secure facility. After her living with me for the past several months, I knew it was time. The staff was so understanding to everything we were feeling. They answered any questions we had and made the transition so incredibly smooth! Within 1 week our mom was calling it home. She has friends and keeps so busy with the activities they plan all day! She is so happy, she tells me every day I visit how much she LOVES everyone that works there, that they are “A1” a term my mom uses when she loves someone or something! It’s such an emotional time when this decision has to be made, so I’m so grateful to know my mom is happy and well taken care of! Kirk is one of the aides that cares for my mom! He is the most caring person I could ever ask for, he goes above and beyond for all the residents! Treats them as if they were family!

I moved my sister to Bridges Mashpee in March of 2021. The care and attention she receives at Bridges is just what my sister needed. My sister is happier than I’ve ever seen her. The staff take care in including my sister in all of the activities they provide. When an activity is not to my sisters liking or congruent with her capabilities, she is still included with the group by giving her a different activity to preform i.e. coloring instead of BINGO. When I visit my sister now, I can just be her brother instead of her caretaker. This has taken a lot of stress away from myself and my sister. I highly recommend Bridges for anyone with memory issues.

Thank you, Bridges, and your very talented Chef Patty for the very delicious lobster ravioli and double chocolate cake my husband Ted and I enjoyed yesterday. I enjoyed getting to talk with you when we picked up our gift meal – a real conversation with a person who can and would interact. The meal was a real treat and although Ted does not remember the meal anymore, he did savor every bite at the time. I am a caregiver for my husband who is at home with me and I have attended in person several of your very helpful and informative programs and presentations over the last few years.  A GREAT BIG THANK YOU for the educational programs and for the invite for enticing and delicious food and drink gifts.
