At Bridges® by EPOCH at Norwalk, our memory care assisted living community has been exclusively designed to support the unique needs and symptoms of our residents living with memory impairment. More than just a beautiful residential setting, our community was developed by dementia care experts and is characterized by a secure, easy-to-navigate layout that helps reduce confusion and anxiety.
Our dedicated memory care community is divided into residential households that offer a warm, engaging atmosphere that promotes comfort and familiarity for residents. Every inch of space has been meticulously planned and crafted to provide customized support and safety features for those with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. Our community features soft contrasting colors, directional cues and abundant natural light to create an inviting environment that alleviates anxieties associated with memory loss.
Memory care suites are thoughtfully designed with contrasting accent colors, motion sense lighting, and automatic nightlights to promote autonomy in daily life. For added resident safety, suite doors do not self-close, and each suite has safety check features.

Our Life Enrichment Director plans unique experiences that are specially created to inspire and engage those affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
Memory loss doesn’t define our residents. They have life stories, careers, unique hobbies and specialized interests. Our team uses this information to customize programs that speak to our residents and provide purpose and meaning for their lives.
